The company known since 2023 as MONDE was founded in 1972 as Renato Menegatti Srl, an offshoot of Fratelli Menegatti. The latter had been operating in Vicenza, Italy, since 1945 as a goldsmiths specialising in processing extremely high-quality brass accessories for major fashion brands. Since LVMH Métiers d'Art first became involved in 2017, the company has expanded in both scale and scope, partnering with GBJM Technology in Taiwan to develop Italy's first stainless steel accessories operation. An evolution that has only just begun.
