LVMH ANNOUNCES THE TOTAL ACQUISITION OF M.ON.DE

LVMH Métiers d’Art is pleased to announce the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Renato Menegatti, based in Villaverla, in the province of Vicenza, a touchstone in the European metal sector since 1980 and which, in conjunction with the acquisition, is being renamed M.ON.DE Metal-on-Demand.A natural development in the strategy pursued by LVMH Métiers d'Art, which after having recently consolidated its presence in leather goods with the purchase of Grupo Verdeveleno (a Spanish tannery that is a touchstone for the processing and finishing of exotic leathers), and in silk, with the partnership signed in November with the historic firm Hosoo (masters of silk since 1688), now adds another milestone to its journey, this time in the field of high-end metals.M.ON.DE., a company of renowned excellence in a historic Venetian district of the sector, sets itself apart for applying processes typical of the world of jewellery to the production of small metal parts for accessories, developing the entire process in-house: from 3D design, to prototyping, to the actual production, and the processes of galvanization (with gold or palladium), anodization, satin finishing and polishing.The metamorphosis of raw metal that is turned into logos, chains, buckles, eyelets, zippers and studs. The creation of metal accessories for the fashion sector, especially for clothing and leather goods, is a fundamental pillar of the luxury industry.
